Line Kitchen

Galley Kitchen
One run, fits almost anywhere

Every cabinet sits along a single wall, worktop and appliances included. It's the most space-efficient layout there is, which makes it the natural fit for narrow kitchens, studio flats, annexes and utility-adjacent spaces — and it scales just as well in a large open-plan room as a single long run.

Ideal for: Small or narrow rooms, studio and annexe kitchens, budget-conscious galley layouts.

L-Shape Kitchen

Corner / Angle Kitchen
Two runs, one corner

Two cabinet runs meet at a corner, wrapping worktop around two walls. That corner naturally splits the room into a cooking zone and a separate dining or seating zone, and it keeps the classic hob–sink–fridge work triangle tight without a run of cabinets blocking the middle of the room.

Ideal for: Square or open-plan rooms, kitchens that need to share space with a dining table.

Sample layouts for L-Shape Kitchen are coming soon.

U-Shape Kitchen

Horseshoe Kitchen
Three runs, maximum worktop

Cabinetry wraps three walls, giving the most continuous worktop and storage of any layout for a given footprint. Everything is within a step or two of everywhere else, which is why it's the layout of choice for anyone who cooks often and wants dedicated zones for prep, cooking and cleanup without crossing the room.

Ideal for: Larger kitchens, dedicated (non-open-plan) cooking rooms, households that cook a lot.

Sample layouts for U-Shape Kitchen are coming soon.

Island Kitchen

Island
A freestanding centre, built for gathering

A line or L-shape run is paired with a freestanding island — extra worktop and storage, and often the sink, hob or seating, positioned at the heart of the room. It needs the most floor space of the four layouts, and the island's own services (extraction over a hob, plumbing under a sink) need planning in from the start, but nothing beats it for turning a kitchen into the room people actually gather in.

Ideal for: Open-plan kitchen-diners, larger rooms, kitchens designed around entertaining.
